Individual peerScholar Assignment
In May all teachers will receive an email with instructions on creating a peerScholar account by students.
The peerScholar process has 3 phases:
1. Week 1 (May 14 - 20) Create: each student writes an individual letter in the tool peerScholar.
2. Week 2 (May 21 - 27) Assess: students give feedback on the letters written by 3 peers.
3. Week 3 (May 28 - June 03)
Reflect: students use constructive feedback from 3 peers, reflect on their work and improve their letter.
What will we do?
All students of your Learning Circle group will write a letter, to be part of a unique process of peer learning.
By giving and receiving feedback to and from 3 peers we ask each student to critically think and learn together.
Why will we do it?
Collaborative learning in a Learning Circle allows students to learn and work together; the diversity in their countries and backgrounds creates a rich learning environment.
To end a circle with a regular test, in a closed classroom setting, would take away the global dimension of your amazing work in the past weeks.

By taking part in the Learning Circle you have created and seen a lot of information about Children's Rights.
It's time to complete the last few months and to reflect on your learning process.
The letter:
We ask each of you to write a letter (about 500 words) to UNICEF in which you include:
A brief personal introduction: tell something about yourself and where you're from. (A first name will do)
Your lessons learned and eye-openers during the Learning Circle process.
Design a new Children's Right : A Right that can't be found in the 54 articles of the UNCRC Explain why you designed this right Explain how your right can improve conditions in the lives of children
Try to write a letter that is interesting to read and will inspire your classmates!
